Barbecues, salads, grilled vegetables, fresh fruit … When summer rolls in, our plates get lighter and adapt to the warmer season.
It’s a great time to crack open a few bottles of champagne, but you should try to match them with the drinking occasion. Here are our tips…
Served as an aperitif
Le Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru
100% Chardonnay – Côte des Blancs
Dosage : 8g/L – Bottled: 2017
With its freshness and minerality, our signature champagne, the Le Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru (100% Chardonnay), is particularly appreciated in summer, enjoyed as an aperitif with raw fish, gougères or fresh cheeses.

Back from the beach
Le Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra-Brut
100% Chardonnay – Côte des Blancs
Dosage : 5g/L – Bottled: 2017
With its very low dosage, our Le Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Extra-Brut brings you the bright character of the Chardonnay grape in complete transparency. Its lovely chiselled character, lemony notes, and mineral structure call for iodised flavours and seafood.
Enjoy it after a day on the beach, with a platter of seafood, or just a few oysters…

And don’t forget those barbecues!
Le Rosé Grand Cru
100% Pinot Noir – Montagne de Reims
Dosage : 8g/L – Bottled: 2018
Le Grand Cru Rosé reveals vinosity and complex aromas of red and black fruit. Originating exclusively from the village of Ambonnay, this powerful yet delicate Rosé de Saignée (produced using the bleeding/maceration method) pairs well with barbecued white meat (chicken, turkey, pork ribs) or some pink breast of duck. For vegetarians, it will work well with skewers of summer vegs in sweet spices.

Tea time (or whenever you fancy!)
Le Rosé Premier Cru
60% Chardonnay – 40% Pinot Noir
Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims
Dosage: 8g/L – Bottled: 2018
With notes of wild berries and Morello cherries, our lively Le Rosé Premier Cru is an invitation to indulge in some sweet summer delights! Zesty and refreshing, it is the perfect companion to freshly chopped red fruit, eaten with the fingers, or a raspberry macaroon and a scoop of strawberry sorbet.
If there is a little still remaining in the bottle, enjoy it as a sundowner with some grilled prawns and shrimps just dipped in some light mayonnaise and eaten with the fingers again!
